Holiday house in Denneville-Plage, in Normandië

Holiday home within walking distance of the beach on the Normandy west coast

Just 300 metres from the wide sandy beach, this detached holiday home is located in the peaceful village of Denneville-Plage. A wonderful spot for those looking for tranquillity, nature and the sea. This charming seaside village lies on the beautiful west coast of the Manche department, between the lively coastal towns of Lessay and Barneville-Carteret.

From the beach, you’ll enjoy panoramic sea views and, on a clear day, you can even see the English island of Jersey in the distance – sometimes the houses on the island are clearly visible. The coastline here is unspoilt and expansive, with long beaches, dunes and tidal flats inviting you to walk, swim or build sandcastles.

The house itself features a spacious, enclosed garden, perfect for families with children, and is comfortably and fully equipped. In the summer season, you can find a few basic groceries in the village, while the nearby harbour town of Portbail (6 km) offers a wider range of shops, restaurants and a weekly market.

The area offers plenty of opportunities for day trips. Visit the famous D-Day landing beaches, explore the charming town of Coutances with its impressive Gothic cathedral, or discover the rugged beauty of the Cap de la Hague, the northwestern tip of the Cotentin Peninsula. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round at the Saint-Jean-de-la-Rivière golf course, just 12 km away.
