Charming Holiday Home with Large Garden, Close to the Sea

This peacefully located, detached holiday home full of character features a spacious garden and is situated about 1 km from the charming village of Le Vast and only 7 km from the sandy beaches of the lively seaside town of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue.

The house is spacious and elongated in layout. On the ground floor, there is a cosy living room with a fireplace, a sitting area, and a dining area. The kitchen offers a second dining area. Upstairs, you'll find a mezzanine with a small sitting area and toys for children, a great spot to play or relax. There is a bathroom on both the ground floor and the first floor.

The green, hilly landscape around Le Vast is perfect for walking, with numerous marked hiking trails nearby. The house is also a great base for day trips: the picturesque fishing port of Barfleur is just 8 km away, and the historic D-Day beaches, including Utah Beach (approx. 25 km), are within easy reach. The port city of Cherbourg lies about 20 km away.

In Le Vast, you’ll find a bakery, a small grocery shop, and a bar/restaurant. For more extensive amenities such as a supermarket and restaurants, head to Quettehou, 6 km away.

Wij hebben voor de tweede keer een vakantie doorgebracht in dit huis en er opnieuw genoten. Het huis ligt in een rustige omgeving met veel mogelijkheden bezienswaardigheden in het mooie Normandië te bekijken. Kortom wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Fijn ruim huis op mooie locatie. Huis is geschikt om met 2 echtparen en eventueel 2 kinderen naar toe te gaan.
