Holiday house in Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot, in Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Detached, well-furnished holiday house with a large garden, located at 2 km from the town of Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot, more than 10 km west of the lively city of Villeneuve-sur-Lot. The house, built under architecture, is entirely made of wood in the style of the former tobacco drying houses that were numerous in this part of France. The living area and a beautiful covered terrace are located on the 1st floor. The ground floor is partly open and you can park your car there if necessary. There is also a storage room with two bicycles that are at your disposal. The playful way in which the whole is set up and arranged in combination with the abundance of wood makes it a special location. The holiday house, located on the road between Sainte-Livrade and Agen, has a large garden at the rear where children can play to their hearts' content. For all your shopping you can go to Sainte-Livrade (supermarket, bakery, pharmacy) and there are some restaurants and cafes. In a few minutes you are also in the cozy town of Villeneuve-sur-Lot. The old fortified town with picturesque houses along the River Lot and the 13th-century bridge over the river is certainly worth a visit. In the lovely, hilly surroundings you will find beautiful characteristic villages such as Pujols and Penne d'Agenais and to the north lies the interesting old bastide of Montflanquin. At various places in the area, such as Casseneuil (8 km) and Castelmoron (10 km), there are opportunities to rent canoes for a boat trip on the Lot.
