Peace, nature & privacy in the Cevennes, holiday home with pool and views

This fully detached holiday home for up to 6 guests enjoys a wonderfully quiet location near the picturesque village of Sénéchas, right in the rugged and green mountain landscape of the Cevennes. The house offers two bedrooms, one bathroom and WiFi, making it a comfortable base for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature.

From the terrace you can enjoy beautiful views over the spacious 6,000 m² property, dotted with chestnut trees. On warm days, guests may use the swimming pool, which is shared with the friendly, retired owner. He only uses the pool when guests are not present. The two houses are well separated on the grounds, ensuring peace, privacy and space.

For daily shopping, the charming village of Génolhac is about 8 km away and offers a supermarket, pharmacy, as well as cosy restaurants and cafés. The unspoilt nature of both the Cevennes and the Monts de Lozère is ideal for beautiful walks and outdoor adventures.

Numerous excursions are possible from the house. Visit the lively Provençal market in Saint-Ambroix on Tuesday mornings (24 km), combine it with a trip to the impressive Grotte de la Cocalière, or explore charming towns such as Villefort and Les Vans. A day trip to the famous Gorges de l’Ardèche, starting at Vallon-Pont-d’Arc, is also highly recommended.

On request, a lockable storage space is available for bicycles, motorcycles or a trailer.

Mooie goed uitgeruste vakantiewoning voor een eerlijke prijs. Zeer mooie omgeving, prachtig en heel goed onderhouden zwembad. Eigenaar is ongelooflijk vriendelijk en doet er alles aan om,je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Aanrader!

Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding! Alles is aanwezig, zeer mooi zwembad. Eigenaar is heel sympathiek en zeer behulpzaam!

Prima accommodatie! wij hebben genoten van het huis, het zwembad, de tuin, de natuur, de omgeving en de vriendelijke eigenaar. We kunnen het iedereen aanbevelen. Wat een rust en ruimte. En ondanks dat het terrein en zwembad gedeeld wordt met de eigenaar heb je enorm veel privacy. Je beschikt echt over een privé zwembad. Tip voor Basic Travel: zorg voor nederlandse vertaling van de info die de eigenaar over het huis en zwembad in huis heeft liggen. Tip voor volgende bezoekers: ga mountain biken op de de Mont Lozere via fietsverhuur La Mas de Barque. Geweldige tocht! Rijden door de Gorges du Tarne is ook prachtig. En kanoën op de Chassezac! Minpuntje: de wandelroutes in het dorpje zelf zijn slecth aangegeven en verouderd.
