Saint-Geniès is situated southwest of Orange and northwest of Avignon, well known for its former papal palace. In the area there are interesting villages such as Villeneuve les Avignon, Roquemaure, Tavel (known for its wine) and the beautiful town of Uzès. The Cevennes, the Luberon and the worldfaous aqueduct the Pont du Gard are also worth to be visited.
