Detached holiday home in Brittany near Pentrez-Plage with garden and terrace for 6 people

This charming detached holiday home is neatly furnished and located just 1 km from the wide sandy beach of Pentrez-Plage, on the beautiful bay of Douarnenez. The village of Saint-Nic itself has a bakery (1 km), while the nearby town of Plomodiern offers all amenities, including a large supermarket. On Friday mornings, there is also a lively weekly market. There are a few cafés and a restaurant at the beach.

This is an ideal location for a beach holiday, but also perfect as a base for exploring the western part of Brittany. The wooded Crozon peninsula, with its charming harbor towns such as Camaret-sur-Mer and Morgat, and the impressive 70 m high Pointe de Penhir, is definitely worth a visit. To the south, you can take a trip to the bustling harbor and fishing town of Douarnenez or to the medieval village of Locronan, with its centuries-old houses and atmospheric squares.

For walking enthusiasts, the area offers excellent opportunities. Numerous marked hiking trails run along the coast as well as through the varied inland. Not far from the holiday home is one of the highest points in Brittany, the Ménez-Hom (330 m). This magical mountain is surrounded by many legends, and a visit is worthwhile just for the breathtaking view over this unspoiled part of Finistère.

Zeer aangenaam ontvangen door de gastvrouw. Het huis was perfect wat je van een vakantiewoning mag verwachten. Proper en goed onderhouden. Wat minder was het aanbod aan televisie-zenders (iedere kamer had wel zelf een tv) en de afwezigheid van internet. We hadden gelukkig zeer redelijk weer en het werd eigenlijk met onze kinderen een goeie "ouderwetse" vakantie. Het vakantiehuis was voor ons "top", en zeker als uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van Bretagne. Bedankt aan de eigenaars en het bureau. Super sympa...

Prima huisje met schitterende wandelingen langs de rotskust op een half uurtje rijden.

Zeer complete, keurig nette vakantiewoning, zeer nabij de oceaan/strand. Erg vriendelijke beheerders, spreken alleen Frans. Woninginrichting, keuken, badkamers, slaapkamers, bedden: echt dik in orde en erg netjes. Eén hele kleine aanbeveling: er is nauwelijks sprake van een tuin, wel een grote geasfalteerde parkeerplaats met een klein zitje + waslijn. Een grotere tuin (is nu bijna niet meer mogelijk) maar zou het huis nog net een klein sterretje meer geven...

Zeer vriendelijke mensen. Het huis is ongeveer 6 jaar oud. Prettig, erg privé en schoon huis, zeer aardige meneer en mevrouw bij aankomst ven vertrek. Prachtig breed zandstrand dichtbij, maar helaas niet bereikbaar via zee wandelpad , denken we. Wel op korte afstand met gebruik van auto. Goede douche en matrassen en fijne en zonnige tuin. Sans vis a vis, dus erg privé. Brood te koop in winkel aan strand. De in de informatiebijlage aanbevolen supermarkt heeft vele lekkernijen ! Aan te raden! U woont aan het begin van een schiereiland/naruurgebied, met varens en heide, stenige stranden en ptachtige zandstranden. Boottochten, kaootochten, etc mogelijk.

voor mensen die geen frans spreken is het misschien interessant een DVD speler/DVD.s of Stick mee te nemen of daar de mensen op attent te maken en de bedden zijn wat aan de smalle kant , verder alles prima in orde , we hebben genoten

Goede ervaringen. Bij aankomst was de dochter van de eigenaar aanwezig voor het geval er moeite was met de Franse taal. De dochter sprak Engels maar mw redde zich ook goed. Een tip voor een kapstok in bijv de bijkeuken en haakjes voor de handdoek in de keuken. Verder was het perfect.

Zeer mooi en compleet vakantiehuis. Fijne en rustige omgeving. Heerlijk dichtbij/op loopafstand van strand/zee. Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaresse. Kortom, perfect huis voor een fijne vakantie!
