Characteristic, fully detached holiday house with private swimming pool at 1 km from the village of Cléon-d'Andran in the Drôme Provençale. The centuries-old house, a former silkworm nursery, dates from 1610 and is quietly situated on a beautiful, shady site overlooking a lavender field (flowering in June and July). You occupy this spacious house all by yourself, the floor is out of use. The center of the cozy village is not far and easily reached on foot. You will find restaurants, cafés, a bakery and a small supermarket. The location, in the triangle Montélimar, Crest and Dieulefit, is ideal for exploring this beautiful part of the Drôme with sunflowers and lavender. To the north lies the pleasant town of Crest on the banks of the Drôme river, and to the southeast the picturesque Dieulefit. Both towns are definitely worth a visit and certainly very animated on the market days (Saturday morning in Crest, Friday in Dieulefit). Montélimar is widely known for its nougat and also a nice city to spend a few hours. You can enjoy wonderful walks in the area, such as around the village of Soyans, where you can also visit the ruins of a former castle. Other characteristic villages are Le Poët-Laval, Saou and Pont-de-Barret. At Montélimar is an 18-hole golf course (18 km).
