Beautifully situated holiday house with a nice private swimming pool and wonderful terraces not far from Domme and the Dordogne river. You have a beautiful view of the surrounding hilly landscape of the Périgord Noir. The cozy and well-furnished holiday house is situated on a large plot of land of 1.5 ha and is perpendicular to the house of the Dutch owner, but without mutual contact. Children can play to their hearts' content on site, which includes a trampoline, a slide and a table tennis table. The owner has some lovely dogs, but they do not have access to the fenced terraces that belong to the house. Both the large side terrace and the spacious veranda are a great place to be. Right next to the swimming pool, the owner has already laid out a third terrace. The location is very central for exploring the Dordogne and the Lot. The nearby Domme is one of the most beautiful villages in France. At Groléjac (4.5 km) you can rent canoes and make a beautiful trip on the Dordogne, an experience for young and old. Well-known castles such as Castelnaud, Beynac and Montfort are within a 20 km radius of your holiday house. We recommend a visit to Sarlat with its historic center, which is beautifully lit at night. In the Lot department, the pilgrimage town of Rocamadour and the impressive Gouffre de Padirac are also worth a visit. In Groléjac you will find a small supermarket, a bakery and a restaurant. In Cénac (9 km) you can find all other facilities. NB. There is a charging point for hybrid cars on site. The last 300 m to the holiday house are on a well-paved path.
