Charming Stone Holiday Home with Private Pool in the Dordogne

This fully detached stone holiday home is peacefully located near the picturesque village of Besse, in the heart of the Dordogne. The house, originally built in the 17th century, has been beautifully restored and tastefully furnished, perfectly combining history and comfort.

Around the private pool you will find sunny terraces with comfortable loungers and a stone barbecue, while enjoying stunning views over rolling hills and extensive forests.

On the ground floor there is a living room, dining room, kitchen, and a bathroom. From the living room, a staircase leads to the bedroom on the lower floor (without a door between the spaces). On the upper floor there are two bedrooms, a second bathroom, and a landing with two single beds.

In a separate stone building there is space for two cars and also a room with a table tennis table.

The village of Besse, with its beautiful 12th-century church, is within walking distance. For all amenities, you can go to Villefranche-du-Périgord (7 km), a charming bastide with shops, restaurants, and terraces. Other historic fortified villages such as Monpazier and Belvès are also easily accessible.

From your holiday home, you can make wonderful excursions: the Dordogne valley (25 km) with picturesque villages like Domme, Beynac, and La Roque-Gageac, the castles of Bonaguil, Montfort, and Castelnaud, or the high pilgrimage site of Rocamadour. The towns of Sarlat and Cahors are also easily reachable and well worth a visit.

In the immediate surroundings, you can enjoy beautiful walks in the extensive forests and rolling hills. For water recreation, there are lakes at Prats-du-Périgord (5 km) and Cazals (13 km).
