Holiday house in Mazeyrolles with pool, in Dordogne-Limousin

Completely detached, natural stone holiday house with private swimming pool and a large, fenced garden, quietly located halfway between Monpazier and Villefranche-du-Périgord in the southern part of the Dordogne. The comfortable holiday house is tastefully decorated and has a spacious living room with open kitchen and a practical kitchen island. French doors give access to the spacious terrace and the beautifully covered garden. At the swimming pool you have a wide view of the surrounding countryside. Children can have fun around the house. In addition to the beautiful swimming pool, there is a table tennis table and there are swings. All facilities can be found in Monpazier and Villefranche-du-Périgord (approx. 12 km), both are characteristic fortress towns from the 13th century with arcades and a central square with a market hall. The high-altitude, picturesque Belvès is 16 km away and is also worth a visit. The peaceful, gently sloping surroundings invite you to go on wonderful bike rides along the many, small country roads and there are also excellent hiking opportunities. Mazeyrolles is located in the area between the rivers Dordogne and Lot. You can make a wonderful trip through the valley of the Dordogne with gems such as Beynac and La Roque-Gageac. Also, it is very nice to explore the river by canoe, in Siorac-en-Périgord is a canoe rental (22 km). There are interesting places on the River Lot such as Puy-l'Evêque and Cahors. A visit to the picturesque, old city center is highly recommended.
