Detached Holiday Home with Pool and Beautiful Views in the Dordogne
Detached holiday home with an above-ground pool, located just 2 km from the charming village of Saint-Laurent-la-Vallée. You’ll have access to a spacious courtyard and a large plot at the rear of the house, where the pool (for guests only) is situated. The stone house is attractively furnished and set in peaceful countryside with wide views over the gently rolling landscape.
The owners’ house is directly next door, but they fully respect your privacy. In the garden, on the courtyard and by the pool you can enjoy your holiday undisturbed.
In the village there is a small grocer and a bar/restaurant with a pleasant terrace for sunny days. For more amenities, you can go to nearby Saint-Pompon (6.5 km), where you’ll find a pharmacy, baker, small supermarket and several restaurants.
The beautiful surroundings are perfect for walking and cycling. At Castelnaud (13 km) and Siorac (15 km), you can rent canoes for trips on the Dordogne river. Within 20 km you’ll find famous castles such as Castelnaud, Beynac and Les Milandes, as well as the hilltop village of Domme. A visit to Sarlat, with its atmospheric historic centre beautifully lit in the evening, is highly recommended. The picturesque village of Belvès (10 km) is also worth a visit. There’s a golf course at Siorac (10 km).
