Detached and characterful holiday home in the Périgord Blanc, near Saint-Amand-de-Vergt
This charming, detached holiday home enjoys a peaceful setting in the rolling hills of the Périgord Blanc, midway between the lovely towns of Périgueux and Bergerac. From the house, you have a wide view over the surrounding countryside.

At both the front and rear, the house offers a spacious garden with several shady spots – perfect for relaxing outside on warm summer days. The interior is tastefully and comfortably furnished.

Just 2 kilometres away lies Lac de Neufont, a small lake with beaches, pedal boats, and a café-restaurant. The gently rolling green landscape is ideal for hiking and cycling, and the area also offers many cultural outings. Visit the historic centres of Périgueux and Bergerac, both well worth discovering.

There are several caves and castles in the region to explore. A tour of the Bergerac vineyards or a visit to a wine château such as Monbazillac is highly recommended. The Dordogne and Vézère rivers are around 30 kilometres away. At Limeuil and Le Bugue, you’ll find river beaches and canoe rental.

For daily shopping, head to the nearby village of Vergt (4 km), which also has a few local restaurants.

Une location très agréable dans un très bel environnement . La nature est présente partout et le calme est très appréciable. La maison est très bien équipée. Nous avons été accueillis par une personne très agréable et a l'écoute. Un beau séjour!

Heerlijk vakantiehuis, mooi en prachtig authentiek. De tuin is ook heerlijk. In de avond lekker van het uitzicht en de ondergaande zon genieten, bijvoorbeeld zittend in de leuke overdekte zithoek buiten.

Een aanrader voor wie graag rust heeft. Lekker genoten van de stilte en het uitzicht samen met vrienden en onze kinderen.

Het huis was beter dan we hadden verwacht en bijzonder proper, dit ging van de vloer en de meubels tot aan het servies in de kasten.
