Spacious and Charming Holiday Home with Private Pool in the Heart of the Périgord Noir
This beautifully restored holiday home with a heated private pool and a large private plot is located in the southern Périgord Noir, on the border of the Dordogne and Lot departments. It lies about 4 km from the village of Salviac and 18 km west of the lively market town of Gourdon.
With a total living area of 350 m² and bedrooms that each have their own bathroom, this house is particularly well-suited for multiple families who value comfort and privacy. The caretaker’s house is positioned at an angle to the holiday home, ensuring complete visual privacy. The grounds and pool, located at the front of the house, are entirely private and not overlooked. From the garden, you enjoy beautiful open views of the surrounding fields and forests.
The location is wonderfully quiet and offers excellent opportunities for hiking and cycling. On request, three electric bikes are available (and possibly five outside July and August, depending on availability), allowing you to explore the rolling landscape effortlessly. A child bike trailer can also be arranged on request.
Thanks to its central location, you can easily explore both departments. Enjoy a canoe trip on the Dordogne near La Roque-Gageac, visit impressive castles like Beynac, Castelnaud or Montfort, or take a trip to the fortified town of Domme. Highlights of the Lot such as the famous Rocamadour and the stunning Gouffre de Padirac are also within easy reach.
For daily shopping, you can visit Salviac (4 km) or Cazals (9 km). Salviac also has tennis courts, and for a round of golf you can go to the course in Siorac, 25 km away.
