This fully detached wooden chalet is located in the beautiful southern Ardèche, near the village of Saint-Jean-de-Pourcharesse. The cozy and neatly furnished chalet of 34 m² stands on a spacious plot and has a partially covered terrace with panoramic views over the hills, chestnut forests, and mountains of this unspoiled region.
The area is ideal for nature lovers and those seeking peace: small streams, rivers, and characteristic villages with slate roofs blend harmoniously into the landscape. Walkers will find numerous marked trails in the immediate surroundings.
The Sure river, not far from the village, offers nice spots for paddling. The Sure flows into the Chassezac near Chambonas (14 km), where swimming is possible and canoes are available for rent. The river passes through beautiful gorges and along high cliffs, less known than the famous Gorges de l’Ardèche, but equally impressive. From the chalet, day trips to Vallon Pont d’Arc (37 km) and the renowned Gorges de l’Ardèche are also easily possible.
For groceries, restaurants, and cozy cafés, head to Les Vans. The large Saturday market is especially worth visiting. Only 9 km away lies the village of Payzac, with a small supermarket, bakery, and bar.
