This fully detached, architect-designed holiday home for 5 guests is beautifully situated on the hillside near the village of Pont-d'Ucel. From the spacious terrace, you can enjoy panoramic views over the Ardèche valley and the charming town of Aubenas. The 600 m² property is home to centuries-old olive trees, adding a Mediterranean touch.
The house features a sleek, modern design using natural materials such as raw wood and bamboo. Some walls are made of exposed concrete, and the green roof blends harmoniously with the surroundings. Inside, the comfortable, energy-efficient house is partially furnished with designer furniture, and the large windows create a bright, spacious, and inviting atmosphere.
The location is perfect for exploring the Ardèche. The lively town of Aubenas, with its impressive castle, is just 3 km away. The Saturday market is a highlight, and in July and August, the Wednesday evening market adds extra charm to the historic center.
Along the Ardèche River, there are plenty of spots for swimming and canoeing. There is a pleasant beach at Laviolle-sur-Ardèche (9 km), and in the beautiful village of Voguë (12 km), you can rent canoes, a village that is worth visiting in any case. Antraigues-sur-Volane and the nearby spa town of Vals-les-Bains are also easily accessible.
Other excursions include the ancient Pont du Diable in Thueyts, the impressive Gorges de l’Ardèche, and Mont Gerbier de Jonc, one of the oldest volcanoes in the region. Daily essentials are available in Saint-Privat (2.5 km), while Aubenas offers a full range of facilities.
