Beautifully restored stone holiday home with private swimming pool in the Ardèche for 15 people
This charming stone house is set in 14 hectares of unspoiled nature and offers a unique combination of peace, privacy and stunning views over the Ardèche mountains. It is located just 5 km from the lively town of Le Cheylard.
The property consists of four independent living units, providing both a convivial shared atmosphere and plenty of privacy for each family or group, with accommodation for up to 15 people.
The main apartment features a spacious living room with open kitchen and dining area, two bedrooms and a modern bathroom. On the upper floor there is a second apartment with a bedroom, bathroom and a large living room with double sofa bed and open kitchen.
On the ground floor at the rear of the house is a third apartment. This space consists of one large room that can be flexibly arranged as a living room with bedroom or as two separate bedrooms. It also includes a bathroom with toilet, a separate shower and an additional separate toilet.
As a bonus, there is a fully independent and comfortable studio with a living room featuring a double sofa bed, kitchenette and bathroom.
The outdoor area is a true highlight. The beautifully landscaped garden features a unique private swimming pool with rock formations and a fountain, creating a special atmosphere. Around the house, several terraces and seating areas have been created, each offering panoramic views over the surrounding nature.
The area is ideal for lovers of nature and active holidays. In the immediate surroundings you will find numerous hiking and cycling routes through the varied Ardèche landscape. Nearby is Lac de Collanges (9 km), perfect for swimming and relaxing, while the impressive Mont Gerbier de Jonc (35 km), the source of the Loire, is also well worth a visit. The region’s castles, such as Château de la Chèze and Château de Rochebonne, offer a fascinating glimpse into local history.
For daily amenities, Le Cheylard is just 5 km away. The nearest supermarket is approximately 6.5 km from the property.
