Detached stone holiday home with private pool and panoramic views in the Ardèche

This charmingly restored, fully detached stone holiday home with terrace, large plot and lovely private pool is located on the edge of the small hamlet of Fabre, 14 km southwest of Les Vans, in the unspoiled southern Ardèche. From the terrace and pool area, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the rugged Ardèche and Cévennes landscape.

Surrounded by mountains, forests and streams, this peaceful spot is perfect for nature lovers and hikers. Do keep in mind that the last 4 kilometers to the house are via a narrow, winding road. The location is wonderfully quiet, but for shops, cafés and restaurants, Les Vans is the best place to go. Especially lively on Saturday mornings, when the weekly market fills the town with local color and produce.

The area offers many walking trails, natural sites and great day trips. The Provençal market in Saint-Ambroix (28 km) on Tuesdays is well worth a visit, as is the impressive Grotte de la Cocalière. A visit to the famous Gorges de l’Ardèche (just over 40 km away) is a must, perfectly combined with canoeing on the river and a stop in Vallon-Pont-d’Arc.

Gezekkig huis. Zeer rustige ligging. We hebben een heel fijne week gehad

We zochten en huis dat toegankelijk was met een elektrische rolwagen. Dit huis is werkelijk ideaal voor ons. Nergens een opstapje, wc en douche heel goed bereikbaar, zelfs met een tiltoestel. De omgeving is fenomenaal mooi. Enig minpunt, het is ongeveer 14km rijden naar het dichtste grootwarenhuis. Niets vergeten van de winkel dus!!

Ein sehr abgelegenes schön umgebautes altes Haus, geräumig, alles vorhanden. Lediglich die Matrazen einiger Betten können ausgetauscht werden. Eine wunderbare Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick und perfektes Schwimmbad. Wer die Einsamkeit sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben.
