ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached house with private pool, situated in the hills about 5 km from Cenerrente and 12 km from Perugia. The house is nicely furnished and there is a large garden at your disposal with an extensive lawn where children have room to play. The house has two storeys. The first floor is only accessible from the exterior, but the staircase is covered. From the property and the terrace area there is a magnificent view over the surrounding hills and woods. It is an ideal place to relax, but also offers many lovely destinations for excursions. The city of Perugia has many attractions: the medieval old town with beautiful streets and squares, the 15th century Duomo, the colourful facade of the Oratorio di San Bernardino, several churches and buildings and the archaeological museum. Also nearby Assisi, with the famous Basilica of San Francesco and other churches and squares, is well worth a visit. Halfway between these two cities there is Santa Maria degli Angeli, with its big cathedral and inside a small Franciscan church for your admiration. Just northeast of Assisi is the Eremo dei Carceri to where St. Francis and his followers withdrew. In addition to these famous places, there are also many small villages to visit, and beautiful towns like Gubbio, Spoleto and Todi. You can go for long walks in the splendid natural beauty in the area. The sea at Trasimeno is 25 km away.
