ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached house in a very peaceful location 3 km from Spello and 7 km from Assisi. The house is a former watermill and various authentic elements have been retained. To the side of the house there is a waterfall with a small water basin where you can also swim (max. depth approx. 1.40 m). Further up the same stream there are two waterfalls. It is possible to walk behind the water in one of them. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first floor, which is only accessible from the exterior, has two bedrooms and a bathroom. Next to the waterfall there is a room with the original millstones, the original mill workings. The house is quiet and well furnished and you will find peace, privacy and outstanding natural beauty here. Various walking tracks start from the house. The house is in the Parco del Monte Subasio. You can go for many beautiful hikes and bicycle trips in this wooded and hilly region. There are also lots of interesting towns and villages to visit. Assisi and slightly further away, Perugia, are the most famous attractions in this region. You can also visit Eremo dei Carceri, a hermitage of Francis and his followers, and Santa Maria degli Angeli: here you will find a cathedral in the middle of which there is a small Franciscan church.
