ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached house with above-ground private pool, in a quiet location 900m from the village of Pieve San Lorenzo. The house is nicely furnished and you can enjoy a beautiful view over the hills and forests in the surrounding area. Pieve San Lorenzo is about 24 km east of Aulla where you can get on the motorway to reach such interesting places as La Spezia, Genoa, Pisa and Parma. The house is in Garfagnana, a lovely area that has some splendid walks in the woods and hills and lots of quaint villages typical of this area. In Pieve di San Lorenzo there is a railway station for trains to Florence, Pisa, Lucca and La Spezia; this will save you a lot of time and spare you parking problems. A day trip to the coast is also one of the possibilities. Along the coast at La Spezia (approx. 53 km) there are some beautiful towns such as Lerici and Porto Venere, as well as the enchanting area called Cinque Terre. In this area there are picturesque mountain villages, old churches and thermal springs (Equi Terme). There is a restaurant and pizzeria within walking distance of the house.
