The house is comfortably furnished and has all amenities. The house has an enclosed garden at your disposal with a fine pool as well as a beautiful loggia. The town of Massa Macinaia has all you need in the way of shopping. It owes its name to the many watermills that were previously used for grinding the grain ("macinare" means to grind in Italian). In the area there are some beautiful cities, towns and villages that are worth visiting: Lucca, Pisa and Florence are the most well known. In the mountainous and wooded region north of Lucca you can go for splendid walks (Apennines, Gargagnana). You can also visit some enchanting villages.
