ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached house (‘casale’) with a private swimming pool. Amazing location on top of a hill at 4 km from Campiglia and 15 km from Castiglione d’Orcia, which is 53 km south east of Siena. This house is nicely furnished and, thanks to its location, allows you to enjoy an all around marvellous view of the hills around it. It is an ideal location for many excursions. The city of Siena is a must see with its marvellous medieval centre. The Crete Senesi are close by, as well as the typical villages with their historic centres, beautiful churches, nice shops and good restaurants: Bagni San Filippo, San Quirico d'Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano. Bagno Vignoni and Chianciano Terme each have a spa; at Bagno Vignoni you will even find the original spring water basin. This part of the country is also famous for its delicious wines and sheep cheese (pecorino).
