ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached holiday house with private swimming pool, in a quiet setting 600m from the shops in Matraia, about 12 km north of the enchanting town of Lucca. The holiday house is comfortably and nicely furnished and has a terrace-shaped plot of land at your disposal with a lovely pool. From the terrace there is a superb view over the area. It is an ideal spot for a restful and also cultural holiday. In the immediate vicinity you can go for marvellous hikes and excursions by bike (experienced cyclists). There are several wineries in the area and a number of thermal springs. Furthermore, the beautiful cities of Lucca, Pisa and Florence are easily accessible and definitely worth a visit. Another possibility is a day by the sea (40 km). Since the house is built on a hill, the downstairs floor is accessible both from the exterior and the interior. This lower floor is also accessible to wheelchairs (doors approx. 70 and 80 cm wide). This floor has a bedroom and a bathroom. No specially built bathroom is available. Please note that at the moment the pool is under construction. The photo on the website is a preview of the pool when finished. As soon as the pool is ready new photos will be uploaded.
