ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Lovely detached house at about 2 km from Montepulciano, ideal for 2 people looking for peace and quiet and wanting to discover that part of Tuscany. This house is simply but nicely furnished. You can enjoy a nice view of the surroundings from the terrace and the garden. Montepulciano is about 10 km north west of Chianciano Terme and its nice spa. At about 65 km north west you will find the beautiful city of Siena with its many historical sights and lovely centre. You can go for marvellous hikes and excursions in its countryside. Here you will find many typical small villages with narrow streets, lovely stores and beautiful churches and little squares: Pienza, Sarteano, Cetona, San Quirico d'Orcia and Bagno Vignoni are just a couple of examples. Chiusi has some Etruscan graves and an interesting museum for the Etruscan era. The Trasimeno lake is at a distance of about 25 km. If you don’t mind spending more time in the car, you can also go visit Perugia and Assisi, Cortona and Arezzo. You can reach Rome or Florence in just a day by the highway or by train.
