The house is located on walking distance from the Provençal village of Pontevès, where a few shops, a café, and the ruins of a castle can be found. A beautiful road leads to the somewhat larger village of Barjols, known for its attractive centre and its many fountains. The house consists of a main house with livingroom, a diningroom, one bedroom and one bathroom. The other bedrooms and the second bathroom with WC can only be reached from the outside. From here daytrips can be made to the Gorges du Verdon, the beautiful Lac de Ste Croix and nice villages such as Brignoles, Cotignac, Carcès and Salernes. A visit to the sea near Hyères or Fréjus, is also possible. Swimming opportunities: River verdon (25 km), Lac de Ste Croix (35 km).
