ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Chalet at a few hundred meters from the center of the lively mountain village Guillestre. Guillestre is located in the southern alps, at the gateway of the magnificent mountain range le Queyras. Beautiful villages such as Abriès, Aiguilles, and in particular distinctive St Véran, can be found in this valley. From time to time the ground floor of the chalet will be used by the owner and his family. You will be staying at the two floors above and have access to a part of the grounds and a balcony with exquisite view of the valley and mountains. You have your own entrance to your living quarters on the right side of the building. Daytrips can be made to Briançon and to the Lac de Serre Ponçon. Mountain walks can be started from Queyras and Les Ecrins. Cycle enthusiasts can let themselves go at cols such as Col d'Izard, Col de Montgenèvre, and Col du Galibier. N.B. If you so desire, we can ask if the ground floor will be used during the period you requested, or if it will be uninhabited.
