ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached house built entirely of lovely natural stone, located at the edge of the hamlet of Jansac. Located in a quiet setting. There is a lovely view from this detached house and from its terrace over the surrounding area, the mountains and the valleys. On the first floor of the house there is a small appartment which is rented separately. There are numerous opportunities for hiking and more adventurous bicycle tours particularly to the Col de Pennes that stands 1,040 metres high (the hamlet itself is at an altitude of 700 m). The village of Recoubeau is about 3 km away for any basic groceries, but you'll have to go to the lovely town of Die for anything beyond that, about 16 km to the north. The splendid River Drôme flows through the valley at Recoubeau and offers numerous possibilities for swimming. There are numerous possibilities for lovely excursions from the house - towards Gap, to the very rugged Vercors mountain range (a regional nature park), to the attractive towns of Die, Crest, Dieulefit and Montélimar.
