ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Beautifully restored, centuries old house in the village of Saint Pierre le Déchausselat in the southwest corner of the Ardèche, in the middle of the mountainous region of the Cévennes. Here you can enjoy a magnificent grand view of the mountains of the Ardèche and the village itself. There is a terrace behind the house that is great for just sitting and relaxing, and beyond that hills with a dense covering of forest. Approximately 3,5 km away there is a spot on the river for fishing and swimming, and in the village itself there is a small restaurant. Saint-Pierre is about 10 km to the northwest of the enchanting and bustling town of Les Vans where you can find everything you need in the way of groceries. In Les Vans there are opportunities for horse riding as well as canoeing and kayaking on the river. Devotees of walking and relaxation will love this spot with the still untouched nature of the Ardèche just waiting there for you. There are many possibilities for excursions from here: to the wild mountains of the Cévennes; to the Gorges de l'Ardèche; to Provence and Languedoc with exquisite places such as Montélimar, Orange, Arles, Uzès, Nîmes and Avignon; to the many enchanting villages such as Largentière, les Vans, Saint-Ambroix, Ruoms and Barjac.
