The house is in a peaceful setting in the mountain village of Cabris and from the property there is a splendid view over the hills. Cabris lies to the west of the lovely town of Grasse, renowned for its perfume. For simple shopping needs Cabris will suffice. For more extensive shopping you will have to go to Peymeinade or Grasse. There are excursion possibilities to the numerous villages in the area such as Saint Cézaire, Gourdon, Valbonne, Biot, Vence, Fayence, Callian, to the Gorges du Verdon, to the Riviera with famous places such as Cannes, Nice, Antibes and Monaco. An absolute must is to follow the lovely "route Napoléon" towards Castellane and the mountains to the north of Grasse to explore, for example, the Montagne de l'Audibergue.
