The mill is not suitable for people who like to be surrounded by activity. On the other hand, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings and the unspoilt scenery of the Alps and the Haute Provence. Vaumeilh is located approx. 15 km to the north of the cosy town of Sisteron. Other places in the area that are well worth visiting are Serre Ponçon Lake and the cities of Gap (north of Vaumeilh) and Digne les Bains (to the south).
