The interior of the house is neat and comfortable. The residence is 6 km from the village Doué-la-Fontaine, The location is fairly peaceful. You can make canoe tours, go fishing and/or swimming on the river/lake Loire. There are lots of opportunities for day trips in the area: Doué-la-Fontaine (maisons troglodytes), Chateau d'Ussé. The magnificent cities of Angers and Saumur are more than worth visiting. In terms of nature a trip to Parc Régional Loire-Anjou-Touraine is definitely recommended. Shops can be found in Doué-la-Fontaine. Restaurants can be found in Dénezé-sous-Doué (1,5 km). Castles: Brissac, Montsoreau, Chinon etc. It is a region with a lot of castles. In this region you can go walking and cycling to your heart’s content. Golf course is 18 km away, in Saumur.
