The residence is 10 km from the city Granville. The beach is 0.1 km away, at Kairon Plage. There are nice beach resorts and harbours in the area. It is a nice rural area. Here there are picturesque villages such as Coutance, St Mère-Eglise (musée de guerre). The nice city of Cherbourg is definitely worth visiting. In terms of nature a trip to Mont St Michel (50km) is definitely recommended. It is a nice point of departure for walks through the surrounding natural area.
