ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Fully freestanding, nicely restored house in half-timbered Normandy style. The house is located close to the village of Ablon, approximately 5km south-east of the lovely harbour town of Honfleur. Honfleur has a very characteristic, picturesque harbour, which was immortalized by many painters at the beginning of the last century. There are many valleys in the vicinity, with attractive villages in typical Normandy style. Ablon and Honfleur are located at the mouth of the Seine. You can make outings to Honfleur, the attractive town of Beuzeville, the international seaside resorts of Deauville, Trouville and Cabourg, and the cities of Caen, Rouen and Dieppe. The bridges over the Seine take you to the attractive chalk cliffs of Etretat and Fécamp. The invasion beaches are also relatively close. Golf: Saint Gatien (10km).
