ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached house in the village of Riguepeu in the department of Gers in southwest France. Riguepeu is 25 km west of the town of Auch. The house shares the same plot of land with the owner's house. You have total privacy here, however. The houses are back-to-back and a good distance from each other. The holiday house is furnished with care and has all amenities. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and downstairs there is an extra room that can serve as a bedroom for 2 people. From the living room you have direct access to the terrace and a spacious garden that has a beautiful view of the surrounding fields and hills. The house is in a very quiet country area. The Department of Gers is renowned for its agriculture and Armagnac, less well-known than Cognac but just as interesting for connoisseurs of these products. There are also substantial dishes to be found here in abundance. Directly from the house there are lots of wonderful walks and cycle rides available in the area and in Lupiac - about a 15 km drive - there is a recreational lake. In the summer there are two major music festivals in the area: "Marciac Jazz" and "Tempo Latino in Vic Fezensac.
