ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Very quietly located detached chalet in the forests between Le Tholy and Tendon. Tendon is situated approx. 15 km west of Gérardmer. The area is mountainous, wooded and there are many lakes and waterfalls. This chalet is perfectly suitable for nature lovers and for those who appreciate absolute quietness. Shopping can be done in Le Tholy, Tendon and Gérardmer. Lake: Gérardmer. THE COLS OF THE VOSGES In the Vosges the sporting cyclist can enjoy him/herself and test his or her form. Within a small area east of Gérardmer you will find a number of beautiful and famous cols, like the Col de la Schlucht (17 km long, 1.100 m high), the Markstein (20 km long, 1.200 m high), the Petit Ballon (12 km long, 1.150 m high) and the Grand Ballon (13 km long, 1.350 m high). The beautiful, green landscapes and the beautiful views together with the smooth, not very steep cols cause this area to be a wonderful challenge for every sporting cyclist.
