ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Very quietly located renovated detached farmhouse at 2 km from the village of Lepange. Lepange is situated halfway between Remiremont and Rupt-sur-Moselle in the mountains close to the nature reserve Les Ballons des Vosges. The location of the house is quite isolated, there are only two other houses a little bit further on the road. The house stands on a hill, most of the grounds that belong to the house are sloping. From here long walking trips can be made. Nearby there are some of the well known mountains of the region: the Servance and the Ballon d'Alsace. In this wooded region there are many lakes and waterfalls. Swimming pool: Remiremont (12 km). Leisure lake: Saulxures (25 km). Golf: Epinal (35 km). THE COLS OF THE VOSGES In the Vosges the sporting cyclist can enjoy him/herself and test his or her form. Within a small area east of Gérardmer you will find a number of beautiful and famous cols, like the Col de la Schlucht (17 km long, 1.100 m high), the Markstein (20 km long, 1.200 m high), the Petit Ballon (12 km long, 1.150 m high) and the Grand Ballon (13 km long, 1.350 m high). The beautiful, green landscapes and the beautiful views together with the smooth, not very steep cols cause this area to be a wonderful challenge for every sporting cyclist.
