ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Quietly located detached chalet on a hill in Remiremont. The chalet borders a small road only used by the locals. Cornimont is situated 17 km south of Gérardmer, where all watersports can be practised. In winter there are skiing possibilities near La Bresse and Gérardmer. The wooded and mountainous landscape lends itself for walking and cycling trips. In the area there there are some interesting villages to be visiteed such as Gérardmer, Remiremont and Epinal. In Cornimont itself all shops are available. Leisure lake: Lac de la Moselotte (Saulxures). THE COLS OF THE VOSGES In the Vosges the sporting cyclist can enjoy him/herself and test his or her form. Within a small area east of Gérardmer you will find a number of beautiful and famous cols, like the Col de la Schlucht (17 km long, 1.100 m high), the Markstein (20 km long, 1.200 m high), the Petit Ballon (12 km long, 1.150 m high) and the Grand Ballon (13 km long, 1.350 m high). The beautiful, green landscapes and the beautiful views together with the smooth, not very steep cols cause this area to be a wonderful challenge for every sporting cyclist.
