ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Fine, restored, 300 year old house with a private pool, set on the outskirts of the village of Les Plans, approx. 5 km from the picturesque town of Lodève. The grounds and swimming pool offer a panoramic view of the surroundings. The enclosed swimming pool is built lower on the hill, approx. 50 m from the house, and features a pretty covered terrace. The house stands in afforested and hilly surroundings, approx. 55 km north-west of the beautiful city of Montpellier. Walking routes are numerous in the vicinity of the house. Daytrips can be attempted to, among others, the charming villages of Le Caylar, Bédarieux, La Couvertoirade, Clermont l'Hérault, and St Chinian. The magnificent Gorges de l'Hérault and the excellent Pont du Diable, dating from 1300, are also well worth visiting, as are the mountains of la Montagne Noire and of the Cevennen. Caves can be viewed near the wonderful small town of St Guilhem le Désert and in Ganges. The grand Lac du Salagou, surrounded by red rocks, is some 17 km away; The Mediterranean sea can be experienced at Agde and Palavas. Other daytrips include those to the fine cities of Nîmes, Montpellier, Béziers, and Narbonne. Golf: Juvignac near Montpellier (approx. 45 minute drive).
