ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION After a mere 15-minute drive from the well-known Uzès, you’ll reach this superbly restored and tastefully decorated townhouse in the vicinity of La Bastide-d’Engras, surrounded by vineyards. It has two terraces, a colourful courtyard and little pool, a 3 x 1,5 m bain romain which can be used, depending on the weather, from May until September. For the hot summer days, apart from the living room on the first floor, you may also use a lovely cool room with armchairs in the former cellar on the ground floor. A baker comes to town once a day. In St Laurent-la-Vernède (2,5 km) there is a grocer and a bakery. For all your other shopping needs, you can visit St Quentin-la-Poterie (8,5 km) and Uzès (14 km). In St Laurent, there are tennis courts and in Uzès there is a golf course, bicycle rental, and horse riding. Swimming and canoeing facilities are available at the Cèze and Gardon Rivers.
