ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION This beautifully renovated, detached home is situated in the hamlet of Paillas, close to Lalbenque in the southwest of France, 20 km east of Cahors. The house in peaceful surroundings is situated on a large property, onto which you can enjoy a beautiful view from the garden. The house was completely renovated in 2007 and finished with fine materials. In the process, a modern kitchen and bathrooms were installed. Here you will find yourself in the midst of the Lot province, famous for its lush environment and tourist attractions like the convent of Rocamadour, the mediaeval village of St. Cirq-Lapopie located on a viewpoint, as well as the wine town of Cahors. The Lot, with its valley and river with the same name, is a charming area for nature lovers looking for peace and quiet. Similarly, it is also popular with people who enjoy going on outings to wineries and taste the well-known red wine varieties of this region. There are also better-known places in the valley of the Dordogne River not too far away. Sarlat for example is located just 70 km from Cahors.
