ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached house with an enclosed garden in the hamlet of Les Bourriauds. Les Bourriauds is about 4 km to the north of the town of Brantûme. The house is nicely and comfortably furnished. From the sitting room you have a view over the surrounding fields. The enclosed garden is mainly lawn. Children can freely play here. For all your grocery needs you can go to Brantûme. The town is well known for its restaurants, the old gardens on the river Dronne and for its former abbey. In the nearby area you can visit Bourdeilles (with its 13th century chateau), the village of St Jean de Cûle (superb lanes around the village square, chateau, 12th century church) or Chateau Puyguilhem. The caves at Villars are definitely worth a visit as well. Canoeing is possible on the Dronne. There is a recreational lake near Champagnac (4 km) or, slightly further away at Nontron and Miallet.
