ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Peacefully located, characteristic, detached house, approx. 2 km from the village of Puy-d’Arnac. In the garden you will enjoy a splendid view of the hilly surroundings. There is enough shade around the house. You can barbecue in the half open ‘four à pain’ (a small bread oven house). The nearest neighbours are at least 200 meters away. The house is the only house in the hamlet of La Jarrige. In the vicinity you will find charming medieval villages such as Beaulieu sur Dordogne (10 km), Collonges la Rouge (15 km), and Curemonte (10 km) with three castles, three churches, and many houses decorated with small spires and merlons, and the town of Saint Jacques of Compostella where the houses are built in red stone. Groceries can be purchased in Beaulieu sur Dordogne. Canoeing is possible on the Dordogne river. Recreational lake: Chastagnol (22 km). River: Dordogne (10 km). Golf: Chastagnol (22 km).
