ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached villa with a private swimming pool and large grounds, at a quiet spot, approx. 800 m from the village of Abazzia, in the municipality of Pruneli di Fiumorbo. Abazzia is situated southwest of the lively seaside resort of Ghisonaccia on the eastern coast of Corsica. The view of the hills from the grounds and the swimming pool is breathtaking. The villa stands on the border of a large clementine orchard (30 ha); a path along the orchard, leading to the river, runs some 300m from the house. The villa is situated some 9 kilometres from the Ghisonaccia, which features vast sandy beaches; the town of Solenzara, due south, has pretty creeks. The house is comfortable and has original decoration with southern and slightly oriental influences. The villa consists of two segments: the first has two bedrooms, the dining room and the kitchen, a bathroom, and a toilet; the second is located directly next to the first and can be reached through the covered veranda. It has 4 rooms in line: the living/television room with a double sofa bed, a bedroom with a single bed, a bathroom with a bath and a washing area with a toilet, and a large bedroom with a double bed and private access to the veranda. Advantages of this house are the secluded location, the private swimming pool, the division into two area's giving two families a good amount of privacy while enjoying a joint holiday, and its close location to the beaches (only 10 minutes). The house is also advantageously located for trips to the mountains. The rugged mountains are only a half hour away; the mountain village of Ghisoni can be reached via the superb Défilé de Inzecca and the Défilé des Strette. Here, sporty hikers can indulge themselves in hiking for example a section of the GR 20(Grande Randonnée). The rugged mountains of the Col de Bavella are not far off either and are worth visiting. The beautiful cities of Porto Vecchio (and the magnificent Plage de Palombaggia), Bonifacio, and Bastia are recommended to visit as well.
