ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Quietly located detached chalet in the village of Raffiny, a hamlet 5 km south of St Anthème. The chalet is conveniently furnished. Raffiny is situated on the edge of the nature reserve the Parc Régional Livradois-Forez at approx.50 km west of St Etienne. The owner of the local hotel-restaurant has constructed two chalets on the edge of Raffiny. At both of them you enjoy a wonderful view on the surrounding fields and forests. One of the chalets has been adapted to accommodate disabled persons. Its possible to have breakfast or dinner at the hotel. The region is very much suited for nature lovers and people who appreciate absolute quietness. Raffiny is built at a height of 850 m. You can walk for hours and hours without meeting anyone else. Other activities: cycling, and fishing in the local river, the Anse. Small shopping can be done in St Anthème. There's a supermarket in Ambert ór else in Montbrison. Visits can be made to La Chaise-Dieu, Ambert and Le Puy-en-Velay. Leisure lake with a sandy beach and mini-golf: St Anthème.
