ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION What was once a farm situated in a small village between Waimes and Malmédy. You occupy the right-hand section of the building, the former barn that has been converted into a holiday home. The left side is occupied by the owner. The decor is rustic and has great charm and warmth. From this house situated on the slopes of a hill, there is a beautiful view over the Amblève valley. The region is renowned for its scenic beauty. There are things to do on all sides; walks can start from the front door. You are a stone's throw from Amblève and its nature reserve. Barely 10 km away Les Hautes Fagnes (Hoge Venen) National Park offers the most renowned hiking area in the Belgian Ardennes. Sport enthusiasts will also enjoy their stay on the lakes of Robertville and Bütgenbach, in the sports centre in Worrika and at various winter sport centres. There is also plenty of culture and history: Reinhardstein castle (14th century) and Stavelot Abbey (11th century) cannot really be missed.
