ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION What was once a farm situated in a small village between Houffalize en Baraque de Fraiture. The spacious house is sober, but comfortably and nicely furnished and fully equipped with all amenities. It is an ideal house for families with children: inside there is a playroom with a table tennis table and a large ball pit for small children. Outside there is a fenced garden with an extensive lawn as well as a swing, slide and sandpit. The house is located in a stunning area for walking: there are many marked routes in the Ourthe valley and on the high plains (including Plateau des Tailles). The region has many picturesque villages where slate in particular was used as a building material. Tavigny in particular is said to be one of the most attractive villages in Wallonia. There is also a Castle here. At one time it was a real ruin but was rebuilt last year and now has accommodation and catering facilities. The frontier with the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg is close by, so you can also visit cultural attractions such as Clervaux. Even sports enthusiasts will love the place: the Baraque de Fraiture has various winter sports facilities and Houffalize has good sport facilities.
